The access to personal information regarding registration and abstract submission is independent. Please, read carefully the detailed information provided below the corresponding headings.

Instructions for abstract submission

Submission of oral contributions and/or posters will be accepted until March 22th, 2020. The evaluation will be notified by email on April 20th, 2020. Please note that up to three contributions can be requested, with a maximum of two of the same type (two oral contributions or two posters). In the case of submitting two oral contributions, it is compulsory that one of them -and only one- is presented in the “Teaching of Astronomy and Outreach” session.

In order to edit the submitted contributions or add new ones, it is necessary to access the platform with the user and password provided in the confirmation e-mail (received once the first abstract submission has been finished). In order to remove a submitted contribution, please contact the Technical Secretariat.

Instructions for the registration

Registration is done using the online form that can be accessed from the left panel of this website. The deadline for early registration is May 15th, 2020. Afterwards, the registration fee will include an extra charge (see the price table provided in the registration section). The registration fee includes:

• Welcome cocktail (July 12th, 2020)
• Coffee breaks

• Conference dinner (July 16th, 2020)

In order to edit the submitted information regarding registration, it is necessary to access this platform via the link provided in the confirmation e-mail (received after the registration form has been filled and sent). One can complete the payment or add/modify additional services to the registration using the same link. If a cancellation needs to be requested, please contact the Technical Secretariat. Cancellation policy: each case will be examined individually.

Accommodation

In the registration form we offer different options for accommodation.The offered dates comprise from July 12th to 17th, 2020, and the booking can be done by individual nights in this platform. In the case of bringing any accompanying guest, the total number of requested rooms must be indicated. Any further requests must be addressed to sea2020@viajeseci.es.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR JUNIOR MEMBERS: accommodation grants will be offered for junior members in shared rooms. These grants will be assigned to those junior members that will present an oral contribution or a poster. Those interested in appying for this grant must indicate it in the registration form. Once the contribution evaluations and accommodation grants have been announced (April 20th, 2020), junior members have until May 8th to send an email to sea2020@viajeseci.es with the flight tickets. Only in this way the accommodation will be ensured.

We also offer 10 accomodation grants for the junior members of the Società Astronomica Italiana (SAIt). The requirements and deadlines to apply are those above mentioned.

Additional services and companion

Due to the lack of restaurants in the vicinity of the conference venue, we offer the possibility of booking a catering service for lunches, that will be served in the conference venue. In the “Additional services” tab it is possible to book the individual days that one may take this service, and the number of people requesting it.This form will be available until one week before the start of the conference.

The LOC would like to offer a Children Daycare service during the conference (to be paid by the attendee) that will depend on availability. For those interested in this service, there is a particular field in the “Registration Form” where one can specify the number of days, children and ages. Depending on the demand, the LOC will indicate the available options.

For those interested(including accompanying guests), we offer the possibility to visit Teide Observatory on July 17th and Roque de los Muchachos Observatory in La Palma on July 18th. Both activities are not covered by registation fee. They can be booked in the "Additional Services" tab and paid as additional charge together with the registration fee.

The attendance to social activities (including the welcome cocktail or the conference dinner) by the accompanying guests can be requested using the “Companion” tab in the registration form.
