Holds a degree in Pharmacy and a PhD in Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of La Laguna, where he also obtained a postgraduate qualification as a University Expert in Professional Consultancy in Community Pharmacy. He has teaching experience across several subjects within the fields of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology. He is a member of the research group on Pharmaceutical Formulation Development, within which he completed his doctoral thesis focused on quality assurance of medicines used in the treatment of HIV and neglected tropical diseases. He is currently continuing this line of research through a postdoctoral contract of the ONCE-INVESTIGA Programme, developing the project “QUAfrica”. In the institutional and associative sphere, he has served as a full member of the Canary Islands School Council and as a member of the Union of Students of the Canary Islands (UDECA). He is also part of the Young Researchers Committee of the Spanish Society of Industrial and Galenic Pharmacy (SEFIG) for the 2024–2026 term. Since 2023, he has held the position of Secretary in the association Young Researchers for Research in Tenerife (JINTE).
