PhD in Arts and Humanities with International Mention from the University of La Laguna (ULL). President of the Association of Young Researchers in Tenerife (JINTE) since 2023. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Design from the ULL and a Master’s degree in Multimedia Applications from the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education Teaching at the ULL. Member of the Research and Innovation in Design Group, the Digital Design and Fabrication Group, and the FAB Lab ULL. Her research focuses on the relationship between maker culture, collaborative design, neo-crafts, and educational practices, with special attention to open and digital processes. She has carried out applied research in digital fabrication laboratories, NGOs, and university contexts, collaborating with institutions such as SOS Children's Villages, Distributed Design Platform, and the Politecnico di Milano. Her doctoral thesis examines how design and maker culture can activate local ecosystems and contribute to the revitalization of material heritage at risk of disappearing. She is also currently researching the development of virtual heritage tours for educational purposes.
