Graduated in Nursing and completed a Master’s Degree in Teacher Training at the University of La Laguna, a Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention at the University of Almería, and a specialized Master’s Degree in Nursing Management and Leadership. After extensive experience across different areas of healthcare, she currently works in the Research Unit of the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria, affiliated with the Primary Care Management of Tenerife within the Canary Islands Health Service. As a junior predoctoral researcher, she combines her research training with her role as Principal Investigator of the FIISC project “Genetic, environmental, and clinical determinants of lung cancer in the Canary Islands: an integrative approach to improve prevention and survival.”
