Graduated in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of La Laguna with an Extraordinary End-of-Degree Award, and completed a Master’s Degree in Voice, Language, and Communication Disorders at the Catholic University of San Antonio of Murcia, where she received the Best Master’s Thesis Award for the study “Vocal Risk Index (VRI): A Pilot Study.” She is currently an FPU predoctoral researcher funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities at the University of La Laguna, where she is pursuing a PhD in Arts and Humanities. She is a member of the PROFONDIS Research Group (Prosody, Phonetics, Phonology and Linguistic-Literary Discourse) at the ULL and the RHILABEN group (Rhinolaryngology and Bioengineering in Physiological Systems) at the University of Navarra. She has completed an academic stay in the Department of Otolaryngology at the Clinic University of Navarra and has participated in national and international conferences with work related to voice studies and the prevention of vocal disorders. Her research focuses on the design and implementation of vocal prevention protocols, vocal risk assessment, and the study of professional voice use, with special attention to teachers.
