General guidelines for abstract submission

Each registered participant may submit only one communication, either in oral or poster format. However, they may be listed as a co-author on communications submitted by other participants.

In the case of abstracts with multiple authors, only one individual should complete the registration process in order to avoid duplication in administration.

Applicants requesting an oral presentation may be reassigned to poster format if the maximum number of oral presentations is exceeded, based on the evaluation carried out by the Scientific Committee.

The deadline for abstract submission is Monday, 18 May 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+0, Canary Islands).

Abstracts must be submitted in both Spanish and English (both are mandatory).
Each abstract must not exceed 300 words per language.
Submissions must be made via the form available on this webpage under the section “Information for Authors” – “Submission of Communications”.

Guidelines for oral presentations

The Committee of the Congress advises that accepted oral communications should be presented in a maximum of 15 slides during a maximum of 8 minutes. It is recommended that the content be structured in the sections of scientific work with introduction, objectives, material and methods, results-discussion and conclusion. The communications will be presented in thematic sessions, at the end of each there will be time for questions.

The files in PDF format of the oral presentations will be sent by mail to the Committee at:congreso.jic@gmail.com, before 23 of September 2026, for assembly and organization. The subject line should read: OC_SESSION (session name), AUTHOR'S SURNAME(S).

The congress logo must be included in both oral presentations and posters: link to the folder containing the logo versions

The printed poster must be placed by the authors on the respective session time, according to the timetable indicated to them. The committee will help if necessary for its assembly.
