Predoctoral researcher in Biodiversity and Conservation at the University of La Laguna. Vice President of the Association of Young Researchers in Tenerife (JINTE) since 2025. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the Autonomous University of Madrid and a Master’s degree in Biodiversity and Conservation from the University of Leeds (United Kingdom). Member of the LDF-Tecnomar Research Group (ULL) and collaborator with the MegaMAR Research Group (Spanish Institute of Oceanography-CSIC) and the Grupo de Investigación de Cetáceos Association. Her research focuses on the ecology of pelagic megafauna and its interactions with human activities. She is co-founder and leader of the Manta Catalog Canary Islands project, establishing the first research group on the Mobulidae family in the Canary Islands. Since 2020, she has participated in and coordinated several research campaigns on the ecology and conservation of deep-diving cetaceans in Tenerife and El Hierro as part of the ULL cetacean research group. Her doctoral thesis analyzes, through various methodologies, three anthropogenic activities in the archipelago: interactions between artisanal fisheries and marine megafauna, the potential impact of offshore wind energy development on cetacean communities, and the mitigation of collisions between sperm whales and maritime traffic.
